Joan Brady is a classically trained artist trained in the methods and materials of the Great Masters. She delights in creating compositions using hand ground oils often including 23k gold leaf.
Ms. Brady’s paintings are found throughout the east coast in the form of murals, trompe l’oeil, and framed works. Patrons and clients include the Henry DuPont Winterthur Museum, Delaware; and The Hotel Hershey, Pennsylvania among many others. She has appeared on Lifetime Television, and her work has been published in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. She is an experienced instructor and loves to share and inspire by teaching workshops and classes, both virtual and physical, to beginners through advanced artists of all ages. Ms. Brady holds a B.A. degree from Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts where she received the Phi Beta Kappa Prize in Art. She earned an M.A.L.T. degree from the Notre Dame of Maryland University, Baltimore, MD. She studied at the Schuler School of Fine Arts, with Zoll Studio School of Fine Arts, and at Baltimore Clayworks in Baltimore, Maryland. |
